Starting with moosic, just because it is easy to start with... or NOT!
Thanks to the fact that i have 4 older sisters i have
been granted the wide variety of moosic choices, thus I have a large range
of moosic that i listen to :)
Start with Taya, just because she is the eldest :)
Taya introduced to me strange sorts of music that is
in no way classified as main stream. Portishead
is a good example of this, as is Tricky, and Massive
Attack.
Gemma made me appreciate the majority of music from the
60's and 70's, although ALOT of it is really terrible, there
is occassionally the excellent band or artist such as Van
Morrison. Off the top of my head he is the only one that i can think
of, but i know that there are more, so i will add to this eventually :)
Sally introduced to me alot of tribal music, folk music,
and the home grown Australian music. I think that out of all of my sisters
i would have to have the most similar tasted as her :) Through taking me
to the Woodford Folk
Festival, i was introduced to a number of bands, who now i listen to
continuously : FourPlay, Monsiuer
Camembert, Mal Webb,
ACApelicans,
Mara, Closet
Klezmer, and a whole heap more i just want to say THANKYOU SARRI :)
Along the same sorts of lines are My
Friend the Chocolate Cake, which i discovered of my own accord, good
band to listen to when you have had a s*#t of a day.
Melody introduced me to the world of swing with such
bands as the Squirrel Nut Zippers,
and the Cherry Poppin Daddies.
Hmmmm, other than moosic...
A weird site that i also found amusing is thespark.com , this site has many strange things to amuse yourself with should you find some spare time. There are a range of tests: the bitch test (just to see how bitchy you really are), the bastard test (for the guys), the unintelligence test (havnt figured out what the purpose of this one is yet... :P), the sex test (see how many people of which sex you will have sex with before you die...), the love test (a really soppy test), the wealth test (how successful will you be?), and the ass quiz, which if you figure out the point please tell me!
A really cool place is another.com, this site offers free email with over 6000 domain names, just about everything you could want, allows you to have many at once (i think up to like 20), and they are all sent to the same account :) good system. i had fun choosing mine.
If you are into tests and that sought of thing then you
might be interested in this IQ test,
fairly lengthy, but apparently fairly accurate compared to the majority
of online IQ tests around, it is also good because it gives you the analysis of how well you did in each section. Please let
me know what you get if you do it :) will be pleased to hear, i might
even tell you whan i got so you can laff with me :) you know those annoying questions that you know the answer to but cant remember it?? then go to ask jeeves, and he will help you :)
